A pair of white copper tingsha cymbals with a clear, sustained ring. Choose the Eight Auspicious Symbols or Om Mani Padme Hum design. Their compact format works well as a decorative, musical, or personal-practice object.
Tingsha (also spelled ting-sha) are small cymbals used in Tibetan Buddhist prayer and ritual contexts. The pair is joined by a strap or cord and played by bringing the rims together. Their bright tone can provide a simple audible marker for beginning or ending a personal quiet-time or meditation routine. This is a cultural and practical description only; the cymbals are not represented as providing healing, energetic cleansing, medical, or other outcomes.
Hold the cymbals by the connecting cord just above the metal discs, then bring the rims together with a light, controlled tap. Let the tone fade naturally. To protect the finish, avoid striking them with excessive force or against hard surfaces.
