Giving Back

Tibet Stones · Community & care

Meaning begins with care.

For us, giving back starts with a question: how can a business built around culture and meaning contribute thoughtfully to the people and communities around it?

Respect before storytelling

Tibetan and Himalayan cultures are living traditions, not simply a visual style. Our approach to community conversations begins with listening, understanding local priorities, and treating people and their stories with dignity.

This page introduces the values we want to bring to potential community partnerships. It is not a record of completed donations or a claim of affiliation with a charity.

Culture with context

We value opportunities to share cultural knowledge with care, recognise the people behind creative work, and avoid reducing traditions to promises about what a product can do.

Community-led ideas

We welcome proposals from educators, cultural groups, and community organisations. A useful starting point is a clearly described need and an explanation of how the community itself is involved.

Have a project to share?

If you would like to explore a potential collaboration, please contact us with:

  • Your organisation’s name, website, location, and contact details.
  • A short explanation of the project and the people it is intended to serve.
  • The specific support you are seeking, along with your timeline.
  • How the work would be documented and its results shared responsibly.

Please do not include private information about children or other individuals in an initial enquiry. Photographs and personal stories should only be shared with appropriate consent.

Sending a proposal does not guarantee funding, products, or a partnership. Any support would need to be discussed and agreed separately.

Clear information, not implied promises

Unless a specific initiative is announced with clear terms, a purchase from Tibet Stones should not be understood as a charitable donation or a fixed-percentage contribution to an organisation. Any initiative we announce should identify the partner, the form of support, and the relevant dates so customers can understand what is involved.

Begin a thoughtful conversation

Use “Community partnership” as your message subject and tell us about your idea.
